Call for ISblue student/postdoc to attend the 16th Deep Sea Biology Symposium

The 16th Deep Sea Biology Symposium  (16th DSBS) will be hosted by Ifremer and held in Brest between the 12/17th of September.  The symposium is organized as a hybrid eventcombining an onsite meeting for delegates who can travel, running concurrently to an online meeting.

The local organizing committee is very excited to offer to all ISblue students and postdocs, online registration and/or onsite registrations to attend the meeting. This is a great opportunity to get in contact with some of the top experts in the Deep-sea field and get up to date with the latest research on deep-sea.

Please see below benefits associated to the onsite and online attendance. Interested candidate should send a motivation letter to dsbs21@ifremer.fr by the 20th of July with subject ISblue student/postdoc, no longer then a page, highlighting their interests in participating to the conference, and how this event will benefit their current work and future career. The  students/postdoc chosen for onsite attendance, will be required to attend the entire event and to write a short article after the meeting in regard to their experience at the conference, which will be published on the ISblue website.
